The
thrust on academic excellence in the classroom has
been accompanied by an effort to build up the
Vidyalaya as co-educational residential
institution. The House System of Vidyalaya,
functions as an effective instrument for the
development of the personality of the students. It
furthers team spirit, by involving students in a
variety of co curricular and extra curricular
activities. The inter house competitions,
organisational responsibilities, games, sports
& art in education activities help students to
groom themselves into competent &
self-confident individuals. The value of dignity
of labour & concern for environment is sought
to be incorporated by self help activities that
are part & parcel of the daily schedule of
Vidyalaya. Teachers who stay in residence provide
teaching help after class hours through remedial
teaching sessions held in the afternoons. Teachers
as House Masters or House Mistress maintain a
close association with students and provide the
necessary support to children.
